Just for the records, I need to make note that Eden rolled over for the first time last Saturday (about 4 months, 1 week).  Her dad saw the whole thing in live action since I was washing dishes and he had Canaan on the potty with Eden right between us on her ladybug/flower activity mat.  She was pretty surprised to find herself on her back but did it two more times before rolling a little too hard and knocking her head on the tile.     We made a little bit too big of a deal o...

Canaan absolutely adores Eden.  Climbing in bed with her in the early morning is one of his favorite things to do.  He has no problem trampling his mom on the way over, so long as he gets to Eden and can hold her hand and kiss her.         Add new comment...

At seven weeks you are adjusting well to this world.  About two weeks ago you started really smiling at us.  Now you will do a little coo to if we're lucky.  We think the smiles are real instead of a reflex now because you smile even when we are making a different face.   You are eating well, every 3 hours and in between, if you wake up early (which you often do) you can just sit and watch and suck on your nuk for hours.  You've taken to that like a fish to water!  ...

Eden had her first doctor's appt. 6 days after she was born.     Just like her brother, she didn't lose even an ounce the first week of life.  She now weighs 7 lbs. 14.5 ounces.  She is 52.5 cm or 20.6 inches at one week old.     She is eating well and sleeping in 3-4 hour chunks at night.  During the day she is content to hang out on a blanket watching her brother spin circles around the room.  Her brother has learned her name and calls to her whenever he...
