Canaan was being quite the little piggy and shoving 4 banana pieces in his mouth at his time.  He had a bulging mouth and bugging eyes trying to chew it all.  I ran up 2 floors to get the camera hoping to catch it, but by the time I got back he was taking more polite bites.  Oh well.     4 comments...

Uh oh.  You've learned how to pull knobs and open cabinets and drawers.  We let you play in this cabinet, even though we should probably discourage you from playing in any cabinet, because everything in it is plastic.  But boy do you get in trouble when you start trying to pull glass pans out of the next cabinet!         2 comments...

Yesterday you and I practiced walking between me and your bed.  Then after supper I was hanging up your diapers and I heard little, bitty, clomping footsteps and you walked straight through the hallway and past me to your daddy in the kitchen.  It's as if you finally realized that you CAN walk and you don't have to lunge yourself at someone after 3 or 4 steps.  Since then you've just taken off and your confidence is growing.     In this second video you don't walk as lon...

About a week ago you started doing this move all on your own.  Nobody taught you this one.     It's as if, after 9 months of lobbing your head around, whipping it back and forth to make sure you don't miss any fun and excitement, you realized for the very first time it's you who is in control of the neck and head attached to your body!  You spent three days shaking your head constantly but now we just see it every once in a while, mostly when you are playing by yourself. &nbs...

Your Nona and Grandpa taught you some of your very own tricks.  Things your mom and dad never would have thought to try with you but you loved them all.  You soaked up every new thing they tried and showed us you are a much bigger boy than we realized, learning to imitate so much.     Add new comment...
